The Brake Buddy is a remote brake application device which enables an air equipped tow truck to operate the air (or air assisted) brakes of a vehicle in tow. Applying the brake foot pedal of the tow truck automatically applies the brakes of both vehicles simultaneously. By using the brakes of the towed vehicle in addition to your own truck's brakes, you increase your stopping power, stop in shorter distances and prolong your truck's brake life. The Brake Buddy unit requires only a few seconds to set up before you start the tow. It mounts temporarily between the towed vehicle's secured steering wheel and its brake pedal. Connecting air lines from your tow truck completes the set up. With the Brake Buddy, safe braking couldn't be easier or simpler.

Comments about REMOTE BRAKING SYSTEMS INC Brake Buddy:

Takes a little getting use to. once you figure out how to position the lock on the brake pedal on loaded units vs empty units the rest is a breeze. it's a little expensive but well worth it.
