 Our Customer of the Month for March, 2009 is Tyler Criteser of Graham's Towing and Road Service, in Portage, MI About Tyler Criteser: Tyler started with Graham's as an oil changer in the Service Department. From there he was promoted to towing which is just where he wants to be. Graham's currently runs 7 trucks and 3 service vehicles and employes 12. Tyler's favorite truck is a T-5. A Ford F-550 with a vulcan 882 on the back end. Tyler explains that the truck is very versatile and maneuvers easily in tight spaces. He goes on to say that he prefers using dollies with this truck as rather than using a flatbed. Tyler is one of the younger members of the towing industry. At 19 years old, he plans on furthering his formal education within the field and hopes one day to help set new standards in towing. He is very interested in learning more of what larger metro areas are doing and hopes to bring some of the same standards to his own area. He has recently been learning how to deal with the city in setting higher standards for the industry with the help of his boss. Most Interesting Story: In Tyler's words..."During a January snow storm, I was on the highway doing a winch out at night. A local college student had blown a tire which caused her to drive into a ditch. After recovering her vehicle I loaded it and towed her to a fast food restaurant. I then changed her tire and made out the invoice. The customer was very happy that she was allowed to sit in my truck during the recovery process.
