 Our Customer of the Month for May, 2009 is Jason Zylstra of Zylstra Towing in Sturgis, South Dakota. About Jason Zylstra: Jason expanded his auto body repair shop to towing in 1981 when the Sherrif's Department requested he purchase a tow truck to assist with towing in the community. He now has 6 wreckers, 1 rollback 1 service vehicle and 1 skid steer. Jason employees 3 full-time and 6 part-time people. His 2008 Peterbilt 335 with Century 3212 and SP12000 is Jason's favorite because of its versatility and organization. Most Interesting Story:Jason remembers the time he was called to recover a semi hanging off a bridge. He used a 35 ton 3 stage challenger to crane down below the overpass. It hung from the rear duals of the trailer. The truck was hauling 10,000 lbs of steel which made the recovery that much more "interesting". Awards and Commendations: WreckMaster Student of the Class, 2008 Wreckmaster Top 10 Community Involvement: Jason volunteers with his trucks at DUI checkpoints once per month.
