 Our Customer of the Month for October, 2008 is Jason Ray from R&R Towing of Canton, Inc. Jason is located in Canton, Georgia ABOUT THE COMPANY: R&R is a towing and recovery business established in 1983. The business began as a home-based body shop. The actual towing operation began in 1983 with an old ramp truck. R&R now boasts two locations with a total of 14 trucks including one rotator. Most Interesting Story:Jason tells us that he once was hired to lift a giraffe for one of the wild game reserves in his area. He's known for his willingness to take on "unusual" jobs that other companies won't touch. Jason has even moved play houses, swingsets and trampolines for customers. Awards and Commendations: Jason has received awards for his involvement with Habitat for Humanity and other charitable organizations. Clubs/Organizations: Mr. Ray belongs to the Towing and Recovery Association of Georgia, The Survivor Fund Consortium and Tow411.net COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Jason is an active member of Habitat for Humanity and the Shriners. He was a volunteer fireman for seven years as well as a High School Football sponsor. Above and Beyond: Jason has helped raise funds for the Towing Museum as well as the Survivor Fund. He offers his services free of charge to people who have special needs or situations. He also donates cars to the local fire department for training purposes.
