This wire rope has a fiber core center and 6 x 19 construction which makes it very flexible. The U.S. hook, heavy duty thimble and carbon steel swage are attached to the cable using a flemish splice and a 500 ton press operation which makes the finished cable termination as strong as the cable itself. Imported wire rope is a sensible choice when price is the primary consideration.
